JOB DESCRIPTIONAssistant Director, Development - College:
Assist in the writing and editing of special correspondence from the Dean and other University leaders.
Assist in the process of preparing confidential briefings for events and individual meetings for the Dean and other University leaders. Assist in the briefing process by working directly with fundraisers, prospect research staff, event staff, and other colleagues from around the University.
Collaborate with manager to execute programs and strategy with a focus on increasing participation, revenue and engagement from Decanal prospects, Trustees and Visiting Committee members.
Learn to research internal and external constituents. Create and maintain complex business process and protocol documents, reports, correspondence and other research materials as required.
Serve as the Griffin database power user and in-house expert with a special emphasis on extracting and analyzing data from the Griffin system. Enter prospect notes. Run monthly standard reports and specialized reports.
Perform other duties as assigned. Seek opportunities for professional development that will enhance job performance, including building networks within the University and with colleagues at peer institutions.
