The Assistant General Manager is responsible for directing, organizing the activities, and services to deliver outstanding guest services at Baptiste & Bottle, a Chef Richard Sandoval signature restaurant serving the finest in American Cuisine and an elaborate cocktail program in a fun and modern tavern experience. Oversee Chicago's premier roof top restaurant and bar serving contemporary Japanese cuisine with a Latin flair. In addition to managing the activities and services for the restaurants the General Manager will be responsible for the activities and services of the Room Service department. The General Manager is responsible for directing, organizing the activities, and services to deliver outstanding guest services at Baptiste & Bottle, a Chef Richard Sandoval signature restaurant serving the finest in American Cuisine and an elaborate cocktail program in a fun and modern tavern experience. In addition to managing the activities and services for the restaurants the General Manager will be responsible for the activities and services of the Room Service department. * Management of operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation * Monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward * Monitoring and assessing product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly * Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards * Initiating and implementing marketing and up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue * Recruiting, interviewing and training team members Hilton World Wide Inc. is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
