br Position Summary:

br The Assistant General Manager at Skyland Resort in Shenandoah National Park works independent of direct supervision, but receives general guidance from the component General Manager. The role of Assistant General Manager is to provide overall planning, direction and control of the Food amp; Beverage Department and Rooms Division.
br
br Essential Functions:
br
br The Assistant General Manager achieves an efficiently-run component operation by:
br * The main focus of this position with be to have complete operational oversight of the Food amp; Beverage Department. This includes overseeing the planning, coordination and execution of all daily restaurant activities and special events and working with the sales and operations departments to ensure event success.
br * Coordinating and interfacing the operations, procedures, and processes of the front of the house and back of the house.
br * Developing and monitoring realistic and accurate weekly and daily budgets and consistently providing an explanation of variances.
br * Developing and monitoring operation forecasts, and proactively analyzing variances to ensure that financial performance meets ARAMARKs and client forecasts.
br * Directing the purchase, storage, and use of food service equipment and related products.
br * Directing the purchase, storage, and use of food and beverages and related products
br * Ensuring appropriate inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and sanitation standards.
br * Assisting with oversight of the Front Desk and Housekeeping Departments - This includes, but is not limited to ensuring staffing levels for both departments are able to meet business demands, -walk through selected g
