Must adhere to all OSHA and TYCO Safety Policies and procedures.
Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and program fire alarm, access control, nurse
all, intrusion, sound, CCTV, and IP Video Systems.
Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures, refer to Technical manuals and
SimplexGrinnell Technical Support.
Access, modify, and program SimplexGrinnell and associated software systems.
Salary commensurate with experience within available pay range.
Two years experience in the Fire Alarm and/or Security industry, Associate's degree or
equivalent technical experience and training desired.
Strong technical skills coupled with the ability and willingness to learn new systems
Familiar with PCs and business applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
Possess a valid North Carolina drivers license and clean driving record.
Ability to receive North Carolina Security License.
Possess or acquire NICET 1 Fire Alarm Systems certification within 1 year, followed by
level 2 within 3 years.
Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 40 lbs., ability to climb ladders and
Punctual and available to work after hours or on call as needed.
Able to travel for training or work for other districts when required.
