Job Description

Purpose: Support the product development & production process to execute the commercialization and engineering of the product to meet design vision, merchant requirements and Company financial goals.

Core Accountabilities:* Collaborate with Global Sourcing team to execute the strategic sourcing and product development plan that meets design vision, merchant requirements and corporate financial goals.
* Partner with cross-functional teams: Design, Merchandising & Technical Design to cost engineer the product and commercialize design intent
* Key interface with vendors during the product development & production process
* Ensure all trim components are commercially available for spec package to achieve design & business objectives
* Support Global Sourcing Managers to manage and lead style development
* Track style development and adoption rate ratios in accordance with the style/sku plan
* Coordinate Design spec hand off to Technical Design team and track spec flow against the development calendar deadlines
* Coordinate and organize development samples to include tracking, updating recap charts, evaluating sample execution with Design partners and communicate performance with vendors
* Coordinate Garment Wear Test process & track status through testing, proactively working on backup options as needed
* Data entry in various systems including: TACT, Excel Development Tracking
* Process in-bound/out-bound mail

* Partner with Quality Assurance, Tech Design and Vendors to ensure development is technically and commercially feasible
* Attend and participate in weekly production meeting with cross-functional teams.
* Process Photo Sample orders to suppliers
* Own seasonal Style File set-up & maintenance



Education/Experience Required:* Degree in Textile, Fashion Merchandising, Design or equivalent years of experience
* 1-3 years experience in product development, design or production
* Fabric knowledge; understanding of fabric/yarn construction and processing knowledge preferred
* Solution oriented
* Demonstrated ability to work in multi cultural environments
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Strong Excel skills
