OverviewUS Residential has an excellent opportunity for a polished, engaging and energetic Assistant Property Manager to join our team at one of our Tax Credit communities, in Fresno, CA.Our Assistant Property Managers provide support to the Property Manager and assume a leadership role in their absence. Together with the Property Manager, this role is responsible for the overall operation, and the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a well-managed, well-maintained Community. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and federal, state, and local laws; maintains acceptable and supportive environment for all residents; manages site staff and their duties, interacts with and supervises vendors.QualificationsAtleast 1+ year experience at the Assistant Manager level or above within the property management industry;1+ year Tax-credit experience required. Working knowledge of principles and practices of property management record keeping with an understanding of resident ledger analysis. Working knowledge of 3-day notice procedures and strong collections experience required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft software such as Excel, Word and Outlook email and with Property Management Software; proficiency with the YARDI and OneSite Software system preferred. The ability to develop a sense of community amongst staff and residents. Model a positive customer service attitude that demonstrates an understanding and sensitivity to residents with different cultural backgrounds, economic status and those with special needs. Strong ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, including excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation. The ability to complete tasks thoroughly and accurately without constant supervision, and demonstrate positive leadership skills.
