Overview: Responsible for the total desk operation on the overnight shift (11pm to 7am) and serves as Manager on Duty (12pm-8am) in charge of the entire hotel operations when not working with the Night Audit Manager. Keeps the Night Audit Manager, Controller and Rooms Division Manager informed of any guest complaints or situations that need immediate attention. Reconcile and complete all daily front desk agents' work. Run final trial balance to post rooms and close computer for end of day. Run accounts receivable reports. Provide next day reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Executive Office as required. Perform duties of front desk agent as assigned. Must be proficient in the use of common Windows-based programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be able to operate basic office machines, i.e., copier, fax, printer, etc. Must display good organization and time management skills. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities. Ability to self manage, high level of maturity to handle sensitive situations. Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and be able to work with little or no supervision.
