RESPONSIBILITIES

Currently we are seeking a full-time Assistant Operations Manager.

The Assistant Operations Manager you will assist in the smooth operation of the department and the retail store as necessary to properly serve our customers. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

-Ensure the operational functions of the American Girl store facilities are executed
-Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager and the Assistant Store Manager in organizational and task driven assignments within the following areas: sales floor replenishment, supply replenishment, inventory control, shipping & receiving, cash handling procedures, store level IT support, housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and departmental budget
-Maintain working relationships and provide support for internal and external store teams and outside vendors
-Conduct assessments of stock levels and needs
-Process special requests for additional stock as communicated by retail partners
-Assist in the general execution of the retail business
-Perform special projects as requested

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:

-Bachelor Degree in Business or Retail Management or similar preferred
-Prior retail operation management experience is required in retail inventory control, shipping and handling, receiving, and retail operations
-Strong written, verbal and management experience is required
-Must have open availability to include evening and weekend hours
-A friendly, high energy, enthusiastic, motivated individual is strongly preferred
-Must be a team player and work collaboratively with others as well as the ability to adapt to change
