The Department of Chemistry, at the University of California, Berkeley, invites applications for one faculty position at the assistant professor level with an expected start date of July 1, 2017. Preference will be given to candidates in the broadly defined fields of inorganic and/or materials chemistry. However, we will consider creative and energetic candidates who show extraordinary promise or accomplishment in research and teaching in any area of chemistry. The basic qualification for this position is a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in chemistry or a related field at the time of application.
