JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center, is seeking a full-time academic physician at the Assistant Professor rank to join the Gastrointestinal Oncology Program. Responsibilities include outpatient clinics, inpatient service, clinical research or other scholarly activity, and the teaching and supervision of fellows and other clinical trainees. Applicants are required to have a medical degree, be BC/BE in Oncology by the start of employment, and be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois. The search committee will consider publication record, clinical research interests, and evidence of commitment to clinical care, teaching, and research. Opportunities for leadership positions may be available to candidates with appropriate skills or experience.
