We have the following opportunity available within the College of Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Program: div class=c1Assistant Professor, Physician Assistant Studiesdiv In this role you will contribute to the educational, research, scholarship and service missions of the Physician Assistant Studies Program, the Department of Clinical Sciences, and the College of Health Sciences. Responsibilities: Serve as a primary instructor and lecturer for courses in the Physician Assistant Studies Program. Design student assessment activities, and write and edit examination items. Assist in facilitating student training while on clinical rotations and participate in clinical rotation site procurement and supervision. Facilitate and mentor students in research activities. Pursue external funding opportunities. Represent the Program, the College of Health Sciences and Rush University at professional conferences and seminars. Requirements: Masters degree. Doctorate in a field appropriate to academic leadership in the PA profession highly preferred. Certified Physician Assistant. Current IL PA license. 3 years of experience as a clinically practicing Physician Assistant. Prior experience in PA education and course instruction highly preferred.
