Job Description

Teach courses in Child/Adolescent and Family Psychology and core courses of Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on multi-cultural populations and settings for APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology. Advise and mentor students of diverse cultures/ethnicities, supervise doctoral research, and schedule office/conference hours with students, as necessary. Engage in clinical psychology research involving Latino populations, and publish scholarly work. Participate on administrative and/or faculty committees (e.g., admissions and dissertation committees); attend faculty, departmental (program),

Requirements
Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree in Clinical Psychology or closely related discipline from an APA-accredited institution; and two (2) years of research experience in Child Psychology or Human Development.

Special Requirements
Two (2) years of research and clinical experience in Child/Adolescent and Family Psychology or Child Development involving Latino populations in multi-cultural setting(s). Experience with attachment theory, trauma, and PTSD in children and adolescents. Must demonstrate success in teaching, research, and clinical practice involving children/adolescents and families in multi-cultural settings. Must demonstrate potential for academic accomplishment.
