Job Description Summary

Responsible to assist the Project Manager in overseeing and delivering services that meet the requirements and goals of the client

Job Description



Responsibilities



* Assist with managing all phases of a ground-up construction project including initial due diligence surveys, zoning & site plan approvals, planning, design, building permit submittal & approvals, Cconstruction Management support, FF&E order and installation, technology updates, and certificates of occupancy

* Compile project budgets and schedules

* Read and understand documents defining project, including but not limited to: purchase agreements, leases,work letters, project charters, surveys, budgets, schedules, and drawings

* Establish and maintain client focus through performance goals, deliverables, reports, and value-added services

* Review design documents, scope of construction, and create preliminary construction budgeting

* Coordinate box moves and reconfiguration, signage, furniture assets, and IT set up

* Review, track, manage, and trouble shoot change orders against proposed budget

* Prepare project status reports, process purchase orders, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials

* Support project manager and Source and manage local GC's and or subcontractors, specialty vendors, architectural, and MEP engineers

* Ensure all project participants understand project goals, assumptions, constraints, and deliverables

* Provide superior client service to internal and external clients

* Review and close out project invoices

* Manage smaller, less complex projects

* Requirements

* Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline

* Minimum of 1+ years of relevant work experience

* Or any similar combination of education and experience

* Experience in preparing and tracking overall project budges and schedules a plus

* Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts

* Ability to develop and cultivate business relationships with existing and prospective clients



* Ability to travel

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Strong organizational skills

* The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented



Physical Requirements



* Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day

* May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner

* Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type

* Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you

* Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing

* Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand

* Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
