The Department of Pathology (http://pathology.ucsd.edu) at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine UCSD is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and seeks an Assistant Project Scientist. Multiple opportunities for collaborative research will be available.
This newly established position will perform vital research, focusing on the receptor systems and cell signaling pathways of interest to our research program. This position will utilize cell culture and animal model systems and apply advanced technologies available in the Department of Pathology.
Candidates must have a PhD and ability to make original and significant contributions to a research program. .
Appointment will be at Assistant Project Scientist. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales. Review of applications will begin on September 16, 2016 and continue until the position is filled.
