US Residential has experienced unprecedented growth and would love for you to join us -- where people matter!ResponsibilitiesOur Assistant Property Managers provide support to the Property Manager and assume a leadership role in their absence. Together with the Property Manager, this role is responsible for the overall operation, and the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a well-managed, well-maintained Community. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and federal, state, and local laws; maintains acceptable and supportive environment for all residents; manages site staff and their duties, interacts with and supervises vendors.Qualifications2+ years' experience at the Assistant Manager level within the property management industry; minimum 1-2 years' experience with tax credit/HUD and Section 8 properties required. Working knowledge of principles and practices of property management record keeping with an understanding of resident ledger analysis. Working knowledge of 3-day notice procedures and strong collections experience required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft software such as Excel, Word and Outlook email and with Property Management Software; proficiency with the OneSite Software system is required. The ability to develop a sense of community amongst staff and residents. Model a positive customer service attitude that demonstrates an understanding and sensitivity to residents with different cultural backgrounds, economic status and those with special needs. Model adherence to federal and state Equal Employment and Equal/Fair Housing Opportunity requirements. Strong ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, including excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
