Assistant Quality Manager
SUMMARY OF FUNCTION
The Assistant QualityManager is responsible to ensure compliance with all policies, regulations and customer requirements for their area of responsibility. Assistant QualityManager has authority to ensure the development and implementation of processes needed to support their customer needs. They exercise supervisory responsibility for the inspectors and QualityEngineers assigned to support their customers. The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive. The needs of the company may require individuals to perform other functions.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To support and ensure compliance with the current Hanon Systems Business Operating System.
Provide supervision and direction as needed to meet customer requirements.
Ensure the promotion of customer requirements throughout the organization.
Establish, monitor and report to management on quality objectives for the organization.
Manage the functional area of the Quality department assigned to them.
Manage administrative issues and performance evaluations of their direct reports.
Assist in developing department plans to support organization goals.
University or College degree in a technical field or min 5Years related automotive / manufacturing or technical experience in quality disciplines.
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Some basic metrology skills, Blue print reading and SPC knowledge.
ISO/TS16949qualitysystem knowledge and related experience
Certified Internal auditor or min 1year process / system auditing experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and interface with customer.
Strong interpersonal skills & leadership to work in a team environment
