We have an exciting new opportunity and are looking for an Assistant Vice President of Sales. With many properties completing or in the middle of renovations, the right person is sure to hit a home run! The successful AVP candidate will have the following talent, skills and abilities: Strong outside proactive sales ability and aptitude to drive and exceed sales goals for each hotel in the portfolio. Ability to penetrate new and existing markets to deliver strong sales results. This position is not for the faint of heart, but is an exciting opportunity with a growing hospitality company. Responsibilities include: - Account management, including managing existing and new client relationships - Business generation - Sales prospecting for hotel properties - Making cold calls - Revenue Management of new and existing accounts - Delivering a positive experience for the guests - Managing the marketing budget to enable development of hotel specific campaigns including promotion and collateral to drive revenue and meet property objectives. - Attending networking events and organizational meetings. - Establishing marketing and sales plans for each property. - Mentoring and measuring the performance of on site property sales team members. ****SALARY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE****
