Associate ABAP Developer, Global Integration and Development
This position is responsible development and support of standard and OO ABAP code, Sapscript, Smartforms, ABAP Dictionary, ALV, and SAP Dynpro.
The Corporate division is the central operating unit of the company setting strategy and policy and providing business development, finance, human resources, information technology, investor relations and legal support to the businesses. Company headquarters are located just outside of Philadelphia in Wayne, PA.
Design, develop, improve, test and support ABAP software for SAP ERP. These would include ABAP code both standard and OO, all types of forms, SAP Dynpro and ALV.
Review code for other team members and be sure the code that is going to our production system is efficient and meets our standards.
Provide debugging support to the functional teams when investigating issues.
Ability to work with our offsite teams in EMEA and APAC and our offshore development team.
Provide technical guidance to functional / solutions team, testing teams, compliance and other development team members.
Provide documented technical design proposals (RICEFW), estimates, specifications and maintenance guides.
Work through project proposals with the other technical team members and functional teams.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS degree plus at least 2 years work experience.
2 years' experience in ABAP workbench.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in ABAP, ABAP Objects, Sapscript, Smartforms.
SAP Dynpro and ALV screen development.
Adobe forms, workflow or B2B would be an advantage.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Should be able to communicate solutions effectively with technical and business associates.
Possess the ability think strategically, execute projects and develop efficient solutions to complex business problems.
Ability to work professionally and diplomatically with a variety of internal and external business partners.
Must also have superb communication skills; provide high level of customer service, and a willingness- to-help attitude.
Experience working in a regulated work environment, preferably FDA related.
