Position Expectations

Position Title: Associate Mobile Communications Analyst

Position Summary:
The responsibility of the Associate Mobile Communications Analyst is to configure and support mobile phones. This also includes procurement, distribution and maintenance of the technology roadmap of all IT hardware to include: laptops, desktops, thin clients, printers and wireless devices (including cellular phones, blackberry devices and other mobile devices).

Essential Responsibilities

* Responsible for maintaining a technology roadmap for all IT hardware and wireless communication devices

* Stays current on new industry based technical trends and identifies new technologies

* Helps identify process improvements through changes in practice, standardization or through IT automation

* Mentor and provide guidance and technical expertise for other members on the team

* Provides subject matter expertise on all wireless devices (including cellular phones, blackberry devices and other mobile devices) and other IT Hardware (including laptops, desktops, thin clients and printers)

* Identify new and emerging technologies (mobile and IT equipment) and create the necessary support documentation

* Partners with Supply Chain, crewmember technology services and other business units to process and submit all IT hardware and software requisitions through our purchasing system

* Ensures all required documentation is kept current, all support activities are properly logged and tracked in our IT Ticket system and other operational support systems

* Distributes and provides both hardware and software support for all mobile devices, including mobile phones, blackberry devices, wireless cards and other mobile devices

* Responsible for documenting and tracking all Operating and Capital expenditures for all IT hardware and wireless communication devices

* Maintains and optimizes all IT hardware and wireless communication warranty documentation

* Responsible for tracking and optimizing the life cycle management process of all IT hardware and wireless communication devices from procurement to disposal

* Interfaces daily with both IT hardware and wireless communications vendors to evaluate products and coordinate equipment orders, shipments and returns

* Delivers an exceptional level of customer service that meet and/or exceeds customer expectations

* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma


One (1) year of experience in IT hardware and wireless technology

* Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced multi-team environment

* Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test

* Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

* Bachelor s Degree

Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice

Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance

When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
