Job Description: The associate visual designer is an entry-level position responsible for the visual design of various assets for SHC email campaigns. With the guidance of the art director, the associate visual designer creates email campaign elements that are compelling, customer-focused and in alignment with the business strategy, marketing objectives, and approved visual standards.
What You'll Do (Job Duties and Responsibilities):

* Demonstrate clear understanding of project briefs

* Support our email design team by creating and delivering production ready assets including but not limited to email and web banners, display ads, product images, and email campaigns (Campaigns include customer acquisition, retention, re-activation, promotional, trigger, transactional, loyalty, liquidity, etc)

* Ensure digital assets follow approved visual brand standards and align across all channels

* Build excellent working relationships with project managers, marketing mangers, art directors, copywriters, developers, and other designers to promote a collaborative working environment

* Successfully manage shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and last minute requests

* Independently anticipate problems, facilitate solutions, and address issues quickly, positively, and professionally

* Research competitive analysis to ensure our creative product remains cutting edge and innovative



What We Seek/What You'll Bring: Qualifications and Requirements:

Creativity Skills:
* Skills in graphic design, with a strong eye for typography, color, and layout
* Proficient in the entire Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong focus in Photoshop
* Understanding of HTML/CSS, confortable designing concepts around these technologies
* Understanding of email marketing, email best practices, and mobile design
* Deliver high quality work consistently and on time

Interpersonal Skills:
* Good natured, flexible, leave-your-ego-at-the-door approach to design
* Excellent communicator that can talk through their design work with ease and clarity

Decision-Making Skills:
* Independently anticipate problems, facilitate solutions, and address issues quickly and professionally
* Self-motivated with the ability to react to change, feedback and critique quickly and positively

Management Skills:
* Pixel-perfect attention to detail, while also considering the big picture

Education and Experience:
* Bachelors level degree in design or related field
* 0-2 years of design industry experience
