The Associate Director/Director, Financial Planning & Analysis will manage the operational Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities in the annual operating budget & monthly forecast/close. The FP&A function is part of the Finance team.

Responsibilities:
Lead the monthly forecast process by managing the compilation of financial results for PaxVax Group companies understanding drivers of change within the financial results, presenting to leadership, and maintaining corporate deliverables and deadlines
Lead a successful annual budgeting process by compiling and presenting complex financial models, leading the budget submission process for the Finance team, maintaining flexibility in a fast-pasted environment, presenting financial results and highlighting risk & opportunity for leadership, and meeting corporate deadlines
Take lead role in CPM tool implementation and integration
Manage the performance of a finance manager and provide career coaching / feedback
Act as primary liaison for business leaders to understand their financials and work to support any ad hoc analyses and requests
Prepare and present the P&Ls monthly to PaxVax Leadership highlighting financial performance and risk/opportunity
Establish key partnerships with Corporate Finance, Commercial, R&D, Production and HR work through others to complete forecast and budget
Lead work in collaborative style, become a sought-out partner, and continuously evaluate Finance processes and the impact on others
Keep business partners updated on emerging issues, brand strategies, and direction
Establish a track record of clear communication up, down, and across the organization
Provide ad hoc analysis to influence decision making with a financial perspective
