Associate Director, Life Sciences

Navigant's Life Sciences practice works with pharmaceutical & biotechnology clients to address a wide range of business issues including market analyses, strategy development & business planning. Projects include: portfolio/franchise/br& strategy, new product planning, pricing & reimbursement strategies; life cycle management; & technology acquisition evaluation.

Responsibilities:

This is a highly challenging position that draws heavily upon all of the analytical, creative, & interpersonal skills essential to effective general strategy consulting. The ability to assume complete ownership of significant projects while at the same time being a part of & leading a close knit team is essential. Our consultants must organize their own tasks & schedules in carrying out substantial business analyses & delivering high quality, client-ready work. As our clients are often large, complex systems, these consultants must demonstrate considerable poise & business maturity to perform effectively & add value in the client environment.

Specific responsibilities include:

-Managing projects & engagements of all sizes & durations
-Supervising & develops Navigant personnel
-Managing client interaction & expectations
-Providing unique subject matter expertise (industry or technical)
-Contributing to add-on revenue generation with existing clients
-May develop business with new clients, drawing upon industry connections
-Participating in non-client related firm-building activities
-Greater responsibility for quality control of client work product
-Adhering to Navigant risk management guidelines
-Identifying & evaluating issues for risk management
