Job Summary

This position supports the Lamb Weston American Falls facility in the areas of energy and environmental. The candidate would develop and implement energy, environmental and sustainable development projects / activities in the Lamb-Weston American Falls facility. Ensures compliance with corporate, local, state and federal requirements. Collaboratively empowers and supports operating facilities with strategic, tactical and technical support relating to environmental performance and sustainable development, including energy cost and use reduction. Interacts with energy providers to maximize site strategic value through least cost methods of supply. The candidate will monitor and coordinate the plant's sustainable development team activities to drive the facility's obtainment of the company's energy and environmental goals.

Position Responsibilities

Includes conducting opacity testing, monitoring all environmental parameters in the areas of air, water, process and waste water, hazardous material, universal and solid waste programs, storm water and spill prevention programs with responsibility to complete permit and general compliance driven reporting accurately and as scheduled. This also includes the development and implementation of capital projects related to energy reduction and environmental improvements.

Position Qualifications

*4 yr. degree in engineering, environmental science or related field.
*1-2 yrs. production processing, maintenance, engineering, environmental or supervisory experience.
*Strong PC skills, to include WINDOWS, WORD, EXCEL and AUTOCAD.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
*Excellent interpersonal skills.
*Combination of above qualifications or other qualifications plant management deems acceptable.
