The Associate HR Business Partner will support HRBPs across various PAREXEL Strategic Business Units and Functions to progress specific, time bound SBU/Function projects and initiatives in a timely and focused manner, ensuring excellent stakeholder communication and seamless execution. Working with a broad range of HR and client stakeholders, the Associate HRBP will advance HR and business goals through analytics and data insights, project management, process improvement, program coordination, and facilitation.Partnering with HRBPs, the Associate HRBP supports HR activities related to strategic business initiatives, particularly in the areas of organizational effectiveness and talent management. Incumbent will consult with senior leaders and their management teams on HR related processes and systems and will play a key role in coordination of annual HR process activity for designated HRBP and client groups.SBU Function HR Support
- Consult with assigned business leaders and their direct reports on HR programs and systems
- Develop collaborative working relationship with HR Operations partners and HR Centers of Excellence (Organization Development, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development)
- Provide support to HRBPs on change management and implementation of enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives
- Work with Line Managers to drive performance management at an organizational level, ensuring that target-setting, follow-up and corrective actions are taken in a timely manner
- Facilitate and coach business leaders to set aligned, stretching, and high quality targets for individuals that enable the business to achieve consistent levels of performance assessment and reward
- Partner with Regional HR Operations and COEs to deliver required interventions and SBU specific initiatives
- Champion and facilitate organizational change initiatives; understand the implications of change in terms of skills, processes and competencies
- Act as liaison and single point of contact between HRBPs, HR Operations/Shared Services, and COEs to clarify and respond to requests for information and/or data related to HR annual programs/practices Project Management
- Drive a variety of projects within SBUs/Functions that may cross HR disciplines and/or stages of the employee life cycle
- May manage several discrete projects at the same time in different SBUs/Functions from start to finish

- Role model use of sound project management fundamentals in the planning, execution, and management of assigned projects to ensure consistent delivery and quality
- Develop project plans, KPIs, and metrics to measure milestones and deliverables of assigned projects and initiatives
- Gather project information (i.e. schedules, data requests, tasks/assignment status) and facilitates progress as needed
- Schedule and attend project management meetings, ensuring all required materials and information are prepared and ready; follows up with meeting notes and minutes
- In partnership with HRBP, prepare and execute communication to keep key stakeholders informed and aligned
- Assist HRBP and client stakeholders with content gathering, content editing, presentations, and other general communications as needed
- Assist with organizational change management
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring lessons learned activities for completed projectsQualificationsSkills
- Proven excellence with project coordination/management and facilitation, especially across different cultures and related to highly confidential and sensitive topics
- Familiarity with HR annual programs and systems (i.e. Performance Management, Talent Management, Compensation Review, etc.)
- Ability to build credibility and trust with key stakeholders, and departments distributed globally in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific while driving for results and outcomes
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet project deadlines and execute on multiple parallel work streams
- Ability to develop approaches to tasks, create and implement process, and develop frameworks for organizing work and evaluating ideas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with HR colleagues and BU/function stakeholders
- Advanced skills in creating MS PowerPoint presentations and slide-writing
- Consistent attention to detail, analytical acumen, intellectual curiosity, proven work ethic, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Must be comfortable with a changing environment; possess a natural curiosity and a willingness to learn
- Interest in following the work, and taking on assignments in various SBUs/Functions
- Patience and persistence to drive change; ability to lead by influence versus direct authority Knowledge and Experience
- Five to eight years of relevant professional experience, with at least two years of experience in HR
- Project management, process reengineering, organizational design and/or change management experience preferred. Business consulting experience with a major firm a preferred
- Project management certification or LEAN or Six Sigma certification a plus
- Global experience advantageous
