Senior Manager, Purchasing Business Services


Business Process Leadership

* Deliver against purchasing business strategies by providing process and system expertise

* Serve as subject matter expert on purchasing systems and process across the Purchasing Community of Practice (PCoP)

* Identify and implement improvements to current business processes and systems

* Provide recommendations as a subject matter expert for the purchasing business processes

* Focus on enabling technology, implement best practices and improve employee experience

Organization Leadership

* Collaborate with purchasing leadership team to align on goals and priorities

* Partner with IS business process development for continuous improvement

* Build effective working relationships with PCoP and cross-functional stakeholders

* Lead and represent purchasing on cross-functional initiatives, including acquisition integrations

* Develop and lead system and process training for purchasing user base

Daily Management

* Participate in project activities related to departmental and cross-functional projects

* Assist the Business Systems & Services team with business process issue resolution

* Continually develop and grow system and process knowledge with continuous improvement mindset

* Maintain a flow to the work, customer service mindset across the team



* A Bachelor s degree required


* At least 2 years of system and business process experience is required

* Experience with an ERP system (Oracle, Ariba, or equivalent purchasing system) is required


* Experience working with information systems

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Demonstrate ability to implement

* Strong group facilitation and project management skills

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Customer-focused

* Travel for new and ongoing business support

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
