Associate Plant Accountant Serving customers in Virginia, PCA Harrisonburg takes pride in offering outstanding customer service. We are a full-service supplier of corrugated shipping containers and value-added solutions. Our cus-tomers rely on us for package testing, structural design solutions, just-in-time (JIT) deliveries and rush orders. We are seeking resumes for an Associate Plant Accountant Responsibilities include:
- May perform general accounting activities - May prepare and record accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles - May perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit and collection duties - Under general direction exercises independent judgment to resolve assigned work - May include front office management and receptionist duties - May plan meetings and company functions - May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and 3 years or more related experience - Broad understanding of accounting principles, theories, concepts, and practices - Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word - Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred Knowledge-Skills-Abilities - Must be able to work well under pressure and within time constraints, multi-task, and build sound relationships with both internal and external customers - Must exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills - Must be capable of independently making sound decisions through creative problem-solving - Must be capable of working with ambiguity and change Competitive pay and benefit package.
