Associate Producer, Digital

Mattel is looking for a temporary Associate Producer, Digital to join our Digital Product Development team in El Segundo, California. The Associate Producer, Digital will be responsible for managing the entire production process for mobile games and products from concept & design through global product launch. The duties will include budgeting, scheduling, development management and ensuring gameplay value and product quality. This individual will work closely with various internal teams including product design, development, QA and publishing to deliver outstanding games.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage production process from concept to launch, delivering high quality mobile games and products on-time and on-budget
- Collaborate with product design team to produce great gameplay and product value
- Coordinate with external developers and external development process, including contract negotiation, concept development, production, QA and milestone approvals
- Facilitate communication of project process and issues to upper management, external developers and internal departments
- Manage internal resource support and asset creation for external development needs
- Build highly effective relationships with other parts of the Mattel organization (design, development, marketing, etc.)

A successful candidate must have:
- Previous Mattel experience
- 5+ years of overall games production experience, of which 2 years should be in production of mobile or digital games
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- A creative background in technology-oriented consumer products
- Experience in Consumer Products industry, with an emphasis in toys
- Experience with iOS game development, including iPhone and iPad

A successful candidate is likely to have:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Software development experience - Objective-C, Unity 3D
