Major responsibilities: Provide leadership in planning, designing, and implementing information and communication technology (ICT) networks; teaching in classroom, immersive learning, and online formats; research; service to the department and community.
Minimum qualifications: Doctoral degree from an accredited university or college.
At least three years of ICT industry or academic experience; ability to provide leadership in planning, designing and implementing information and communication technology (ICT) networks; demonstrated applied research in academe or industry, with an emphasis on qualitative/quantitative analysis, and working knowledge of emerging technologies in the ICT field.
Must be able to provide advising and career development for a diverse graduate student population. Must have demonstrated ability to work in a graduate professional academic program and qualify for graduate faculty status at the rank of associate professor. Must have demonstrated proficiency in delivering online educational content. Must be able to manage multiple projects within and outside of classroom environment.
Preferred qualifications: Possess a doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technology Management) from an accredited university or college.
Over three years of ICT industry or academic experience; current industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, PMP); extensive track record of securing external funding in higher education and demonstrate a history of leadership in either higher education or industry at a senior level.
