Associate Professor (Tenure Track)

Learned Professional Exemption
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT
Fiscal Year - FT Continuing Contract
Provide leadership in planning, designing, and implementing information and communication technology (ICT) networks; teaching in classroom, immersive learning, and online formats; research; service to the department and community.
Doctoral degree from an accredited university or college.
At least three years of ICT industry or academic experience; ability to provide leadership in planning, designing and implementing information and communication technology (ICT) networks; demonstrated applied research in academe or industry, with an emphasis on qualitative/quantitative analysis, and working knowledge of emerging technologies in the ICT field.
Must be able to provide advising and career development for a diverse graduate student population. Must have demonstrated ability to work in a graduate professional academic program and qualify for graduate faculty status at the rank of associate professor. Must have demonstrated proficiency in delivering online educational content. Must be able to manage multiple projects within and outside of classroom environment.
Possess a doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technology Management) from an accredited university or college.
Over three years of ICT industry or academic experience; current industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, PMP); extensive track record of securing external funding in higher education and demonstrate a history of leadership in either higher education or industry at a senior level.
Requires successful completion of a background check.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching: Provide leadership in delivering graduate-level courses in planning, designing and implementing information and communication technology (ICT) networks.
Research: Engage in applied research projects that are both informative to the industry and provides immersive learning opportunities for the graduate student population.
Service: Provide service and leadership to the unit, the College, the University, and the community we serve. CICS has a long history of giving back to the community with the technical expertise we can provide.
Development: Cultivate resources (financial support, grants, and in-kind donations) for the support of the Center s lab environment, Student Learning initiatives, and scholarship support.
Deliver online learning for graduate course.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
