This career opportunity provides new-to-insurance industry professionals the ability to performing claim processing and payment functions on Property claims in multiple states, while keeping the electronic claim file up-to-date at all times. This function includes outbound calls that contain a level of satisfaction that meets or exceeds the customers' expectations, which is attained by responding with exceptional customer service skills and a professional manner.Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Confirms coverages and claim processing requirements- Utilizes established guidelines obtains appraisals and other needed information from insured- Records additional information/data into the company's network updating the electronic claim file- Applies communication skills to interpret caller's inquiries and offers options and resolutions- Makes outbound call to the insured to confirm next steps- Manages appraisal and vendor processes- Collects and files bills/documentation and sends outbound correspondence as needed- Confirms claim resolution and amount of payment- Handles calls from phone queue and provides claim assistance for teamwork and collaborationPosition RequirementsRequirements:
