Opportunity:
The Associate Quality Engineer reports to the Senior Manager, QA - Vascular division and will support the Vascular Business and the Vascular Manufacturing facilities from a quality assurance perspective. This person will also ensure all quality system elements are monitored/ trended and risks are investigated thoroughly and communicated appropriately.

Division Information:
The Corporate division is the central operating unit of the company setting strategy and policy and providing business development, finance, human resources, information technology, investor relations and legal support to the businesses. Company headquarters are located just outside of Philadelphia in Wayne, PA.

Position Description:
The Associate Quality Engineer reports to the Senior Manager, QA - Vascular division and will support the Vascular Business and the Vascular Manufacturing facilities from a quality assurance perspective. This person will also ensure all quality system elements are monitored/ trended and risks are investigated thoroughly and communicated appropriately.

Principal Responsibilities:
Analyze data (NCs, CAPAs, complaints, etc.) to identify areas of high risk to the business and communicate those risks appropriately with management.
Support investigations to determine root cause as a result of complaints, nonconforming product or processes, etc. and communicate appropriately with management
Use critical thinking skills to support closure of CAPAs, Risk Assessments, NCs, Complaint Investigations, and Field Corrective actions.
Act as Nonconformance Analyst for Vascular division nonconformances participate in training program with NC Analyst at manufacturing facility to gain experience and understanding of process and procedures
Collect weekly, monthly, and quaterly data from Vascular manufacturing facilities and business unit to prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly meeting agendas and presentations
Maintain accurate documentation (meeting minutes/action items) from meetings and quality reviews
Ask critical questions to ensure compliance
Other projects assigned by management

Requirements:
Education/Experience Required:

Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Biomedical, etc.) or Quality
Knowledge of ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, MDD, and CMD
SAP knowledge preferred
