Associate Scientist II/III Bioanalytical Support

- Develop, validate small molecule bioanalytical assays using LC-MS/MS
- Perform bioanalytical sample testing for PK and PK/PD studies
- Perform sample preparation from plasma, blood and tissue specimen
- maintain LC-MS/MS instrument operation, troubleshoot
- maintain notebook, write method development and bioanalytical summaries
- present experimental results
- collaborate with other DMPK scientists and across disciplines in drug discovery
- implement automation approaches to sample prep
- generate data in an electronic lab environment; use of Watson LIMS
B.A., M.S. in chemistry or biology with focus on analytical chemistry and mass spectrometry
4-7 years of experience in small molecule or peptide quantitation by LC-MS/MS
Hands-on experience with Sciex triple-quadrupole mass spectrometers and Cohesive multiplexing LC setups
Experience in LC-MS/MS, bioanalytical assay development, validation, and sample testing
Experience with automation approaches a plus
Experience in the use of LIMS such as Watson
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills
