As a key member of the application development team, the Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (or Associate SDET) will be primarily responsible for extending an automated testing framework, automating complex tasks, and providing test coverage for our web services.

WHAT YOU\'LL BE DOING:
- Assist in designing and maintaining automation tools and frameworks that will be used by Crimson product QA teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and use cases for automation tools
- Create automated test scripts and pioneer process improvements
- Participate and provide input on story requirements, design, estimation and test approach discussions
- Support QA team members in troubleshooting test failures
- Use SQL to validate test results and conduct root-cause analysis

MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science OR related field
- Knowledge of relational databases, e.g. SQL or postgreSQL
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language

EVEN BETTER:
- Knowledge of web application architecture and technologies, including multi-platform browser support
- Experience with QA automation tools
- Exposure to big data technologies
