Malcolm Pirnie is seeking a senior electrical engineer to manage a group of highly talented design engineers for environmental, municipal and industrial clients and projects. Must have minimum of 15 years of design and personnel management experience and shall be professionally licensed.
Will be responsible for the mentoring and career development of junior staff as well as day to day workload management

Requirements include B.S. in Electrical Engineering, from a four year accredited school of engineering, M.S. preferred. Engineering experience specializing in power distribution design.

Understanding of Green and Sustainable design principles. USGBC LEED accreditation preferred.

Familiarization with AutoCAD drafting software.

Significant experience in the electrical design of large industrial type facilities (water and wastewater treatment facilities preferred but not a prerequisite), commercial facilities, and institutional facilities.

Ability to manage a team of engineers and support staff engaged in the design and production of biddable construction documents. Must possess the ability to produce contract drawings, specifications and cost estimates. Will be responsible for inter-discipline coordination. Must have a clear and consistent appreciation for deadlines and budgets and ability to properly apply efforts to satisfy multiple project needs and commitments; excellent time management skills are essential.

Must be outgoing, confident, performance-driven, team-oriented and client-focused with strong written/verbal communication skills and an impressive work ethic.
