Associate - Water

Malcolm Pirnie, Inc is seeking a Principal in Charge (Senior Project Manager?) with a specialty in high pressure membranes for our Tampa/Sarasota office to serve several of our clients in SW Florida. This person will be responsible for developing and leading the membrane practice in Florida; developing and managing client relationships in water/wastewater treatment; and managing water/wastewater projects.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Ten or more years of progressively responsible experience with the majority of experience as a consulting engineer in the municipal water industry focused on membrane treatment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage clients of all types
- Significant treatment plant planning and design experience including development of conceptual/preliminary designs, detailed design document preparation, and office engineering during construction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation.
- Demonstrated project management experience including budget and schedule monitoring and control responsibilities.
- Experience mentoring and supervising other design engineers.
- B.S. degree in engineering; M.S. a plus. P.E. required.
