Job Description
Papyrus-Recycled Greetings (PRG) is seeking an Assortment Coordinator to join the Marketing team in our downtown Chicago office. This is a newly created position to support growth within the Recycled Paper Greetings brand and will report to the Associate Assortment Manager.

The Retail Assortment Coordinator is responsible for space planning and project management support to the Retail Assortment Manager. Also responsible for coordinating internal processes in support of the execution of revision activity, merchandising space planning execution, display and signage execution and internal process project management.

Create visual merchandising schematics in system (JDA) and coordinate activities with PRG Operations, ISO and FSO Sales/Retailer Communication, Fixture Supply Chain, and others to make sure all tasks are executed with excellence
UPC Communications
Completion of merchandising spreadsheets
Completion of all forms related to POG building process
Support the development and execution for retail assortment testing through the assortment and POG building process
Support initiative planning through PPC modeling for retail expense impact
Development and execution of merchandising diagrams for Seasonal retail assortments
Execution of seasonal assortments as needed
Execution of all fixture and visual merchandising project in support of a specific business plan
Additional duties as project needs necessitate.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary due to the nature & level of interaction with peers and management.
Strong analytical, problem solving and math skills.
Knowledge of marketing principles.
Ability to work a team environment and to work independently.
Time management skills; ability to plan and organize daily workload; flexibility to handle constantly changing priorities; ability to meet deadlines
Independent; takes initiative; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong PC skills to include excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Experience Required:
1-3 years of prior retail/consumer product experience in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is critical

Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Space Management or related degree.
