Under the general supervision of the director of Pharmaceutical Services, the Assistant Director of Inpatient Services shall be responsible for the day to day operations of pharmacy inpatient services at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Functions shall include overseeing inpatient departmental operations, designing and implementing clinical and drug distributive services, human resource activities (training and evaluation new employees) as well as fiscal and quality management processes. The Associate Director shall ensure that the Department reflects the mission, vision and values of the Health System, and that the department is in compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all regulatory and accreditation standards as well as federal, state and university laws and regulations.





JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

ASHP-accredited residency (required)

Supervisory/Management experience- inpatient hospital setting (required)

CA Pharmacy license. Will consider out of state candidates.

Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations.

Proven track record in managing financial operations, personnel, quality function, information technology and other professional aspects of current hospital practice.
