HomeNet, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team in Exton, PA.

Job Summary

As the Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, debugging, maintaining and executing automation scripts. This includes scripts for functional, regression, application, load, and performance tests for web-based applications and services. In the role of Automation Test Engineer, you will be expected to identify and effectively communicate risks and gaps in the testing framework. To be successful in the role of Automation Test Engineer you must be able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment while maintaining good communication with management and team members.

Your Role:

*

Analyze and develop software requirements
*

Create, modify, and execute statistics and reporting modules that track automation results, trends, and application quality.
*

Participate in Sprint Ceremonies, help drive estimations and planning activities
*

Participate in functional test planning and testing for the assigned applications, functional areas or projects
*

Work with back end databases, services, APIs and front end GUI applications and libraries
*

Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the assigned applications, functional areas or projects
*

Actively work with the QA team to identify what can be transitioned to the automated test suites
*

Proactively log, report, and analyze defects
*

Mentor and train junior team members

Qualifications

Required Experience:

*

5+ years of experience with Python and JavaScript
*

5+ years of experience with C#
*

5+ years of experience with writing and maintaining SQL queries
*

5+ years of experience with writing automated tests in support of web applications, services, and APIs
