* Description
* The
* Automation Process Control Specialist
* plays a key role in supporting Midstream Operations by directly developing and enhancing PLC programs\. This position is based in Amarillo, TX\.*
* Responsibilities may include
* :
+ Identifying the sequence of operations for PLC program development utilizing cause and effect charts\. + Interfacing with both legacy and new Rockwell Automation platform communications\. + Developing PLC programing and electrical integration design around various platforms of VFDs\. + Developing or enhancing of PLC and HMI programs to accommodate operational needs of technicians in the field\. + Programing development of PLC programs for pump and tankage distribution systems and applications involving pressure and flow loop controls\. + Processing control network communications configuration and implementation for multiple PLC and HMI systems\. + Utilizing DOS ARP commands along with C\+\+ and Visual Basic applications are repetitive\. + Interfacing with VMware and server virtualization utilizing thin client applications\. + Configuring and assigning Ethernet IP's for multiple device control networks\. + Interfacing with multiple various telemetry and SCADA systems\. + Mapping Data bases for SCADA, HMI, PLC systems\. + Developing batching control systems\. + Appling specialized knowledge to ensure the safety, reliability, and cost effectiveness of technology used to meet business requirements\. + Identifying and correcting safety hazards or system flaws that contribute to downtime or inefficient operations\. + Providing safety, efficiency and reliability of P&T facility automation systems\. Responsible for the execution of related projects\.*

+ Legally authorized to work in the job posting country + Must maintain a valid driver's license + 2 year Technical Degree, Diploma, Associates Degree or higher + 2 or more years of experience developing PLC programs + 1 or more years of experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems + Willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to do the following:
- Travel 40% of the time - Work outside in harsh weather conditions*

+ 5 or more years of experience with program development on Allen Bradley PLC software platforms + 5 or more years of experience in commissioning and developing PLC programs for pump controls utilizing VFDs + 3 or more years of experience with Variable Frequency Drives + Expert level of understand and demonstrated ability to program and/or configure automation technology such as:
sensors, PID loop control, data communications, and other electrical machines + Experience with Pipeline and Terminal business processes and equipment such as mainline motors and engines, pipeline flow measurement equipment, and tank level measurement equipment*
