The Department of Pathology at the University of California San Francisco is seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time faculty position as the Co-Director of the Autopsy Service at the UCSF Medical Center. Clinical duties will include surgical pathology signout specializing in cardiovascular pathology and autopsy service, as well as night and weekend call. Candidates must have three or more years of cardiovascular Pathology service experience. She/he is expected to participate in departmental teaching activities for medical students, house-staff, and fellows, and in interdepartmental conferences. The individual will also be expected to participate in translational research.

Candidates must have a valid California medical license (or qualifications to obtain one), and be Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as certification from the National Board of Medical Examiners. Salary and appointment rank (Full Professor level in the Clinical X Series) will be commensurate with the applicant s experience and training. This position is based in the Department of Pathology at the Parnassus campus.
