Job Description

Hardware Technician
TCML is currently looking for a Hardware Technician for our Fortune 500 client in Portland ME.

Responsible for on-site installing, maintaining and repairing company and multi-vendor systems which include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems. Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventative maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance. Takes responsibility for potential or desired follow-up services (Sales/Systems Engineering) or problem escalation. Supports and observes installations being performed by experienced field-engineers. Entry level position.

Requirements:

-Great customer satisfaction and communication skills.
-Candidates should live within 20 miles of part's pick-location.
-Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
-A+ Certification- Required
-Experience with replacing hardware components in desktop computers in a professional environment. Hardware components include motherboard, processor, memory, etc.
-Experience with replacing hardware components in laptop computers in a professional environment. Hardware components include motherboard, processor, LCD screens, etc. (Preferred but not required)
-Must be willing to drive up to 750 miles per week. Typically will drive under 500 miles a week.
-Dress code is business casual.
-Contract is open-ended. We will continue to extend the contract as long as we have work for them and their performance is acceptable.
