Job Description ENSCO Avionics, Inc. is seeking an Avionics Embedded Software Engineer to join our team developing embedded real-time software for engine control systems. Typical duties may include, but are not limited to:
analyzing requirements
creating high level and low level design
implementing code and doing test and integration of the code in desktop simulation and/or lab equipment environments with hardware in the loop
being able to work with text and logic diagram requirements
being familiar with all parts of the software life cycle
following rigorous established processes to assure the software/system to DO-178B/C standards

Qualifications Required (Skills)
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years work experience
Proficiency with C code software programming in toolsets such as Borland C, Microsoft C, and GCC
Proficiency with Script editors such as notepad++, Python, and Excel
Proficient in Excel at intermediate or higher level (tasks will include database manipulation, formulas, and format components)
Experience using Green Hills, Visual C or similar Integrated Development Environment [IDE]
Experience with VxWorks WorkBench or similar real time toolset
Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with Suppliers, clients and colleagues
Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments
Must be a U.S. Citizen
