- This is a position in the aerospace field associated with the design, development, integration, and test of avionic systems. - Specific tasks include the development and qualification of cockpit control and display electronics (displays, control panels, slew controllers, etc..).
- Minimum BS degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Software, Electrical Engineering
or Computer Science. Master?s degree preferred. - A minimum of 2 ? 5+ years
of avionics systems and/or equipment experience required.- Excellent written
and oral communication, presentation, interpersonal and organizational
skills are required. - Proven structured, team-oriented problem solving
skills. A strong, hands-on approach to solving problems. - Ability to perform
all job functions effectively both independently and within a workgroup.
- Aircraft communication systems and bus architecture experience (1553,
ARINC 429, etc..). - The successful candidate must possess the technical
background, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills to work within
a team environment. - Experience with terrain avoidance systems and digital
mapping is a plus.- Drug Screen- Background Check - US Citizen or Green
