Avionics PWB Designer
Job Description ENSCO Avionics, Inc is seeking a skilled Printed Circuit Board Designer for Avionic Embedded control systems. The Printed Circuit Board designer will participate in design reviews, interface with electrical, mechanical manufacturing and process engineers to design printed circuit boards. The candidate will also create fabrication and assembly drawings, parts list, incorporate changes to existing design documentation and create and maintain component libraries.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
6 months experience; formal academic/tech training
Proficient in Multilayer PCB design software (such as Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics Xpedition)
Proficient with component - libraries, symbols, geometries, and placement methods (be able to investigate the properties and adjust PWB aspects for a component, be able to visually place a component)
Proficient with Electronic circuitry (knowledge of electronics)
Strong Excel experience
Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues
Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Script Generation and utilization (be able to use scripts to auto generate a PWB component placement, connections, etc.) Electronics Firmware applications (be able to create schematic designs with programmed parts - FPGA, PIC Micro, etc.)
Software tool experience on Windows and UNIX based platforms (tool experience with Mentor Graphics, Cadence, or other similar tools)
Configuration Management systems such as Razor or Synergy
