It currently serves approximately 58 million wireless subscribers and provides products and services through 70,000 points of distribution.The Business Intelligence Senior Analyst, Functional is responsible for guiding the business through the analysis of quantitative & qualitative data. This role requires the creation of customer centric solutions/approaches driven by data analysis, business acumen, creativity, and effective communication. This position will participate in the design and development of reporting structures and interfaces, as well as administration of standardized reports to be utilized across the team. Analyzes business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommends technical solutions. Reviews business requirements prior to the technical solution build. Collaborates with EIT and business teams on business requirements definition, solution designs, functional specifications, system configuration, testing, training, cutover, and other project-related activities. Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and communicating standards and procedures for implementing technical solutions. Represents the EIT function at customer requirements, design and review meetings. Performs liaison duties between users, operations, and programming personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting. Builds alignment with business and other IT teams on priorities and deliveries against these priorities. The Functional Analyst will have responsibility for projects focused on Business Intelligence for Supply Chain and Device Lifecycle Programs.5+ years Software and/or business process design including:
Data Flow diagrams, process models, dimensional data models, context models, use case scenarios, process decomposition5+ years Project/Team lead experienceWorking knowledge of Agile development methodologyMinimum of 5+ years in information technology with proven experience with Teradata, Business Objects, SQL, Hadoop, Analytics, and Data WarehousingUnderstanding of ETL Development ToolsExperience with ad-hoc query developmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with Supply Chain within a retail environment or supporting device lifecycle programs, reverse logistics, and inventory management business operations and processes.

Bachelors Degree in Business, MIS, or equivalent
* LI-TECH-DB1Support the analytic needs of the business by using data from various sources (e.g. call centers, SAP, & Business Objects). Guide data strategy across multiple touch points (e.g. POS tool, surveys, market research).Define and document business data usage scenarios and reporting requirements to understand complex business needs to deliver robust reporting & analytics.Partnering with BI Solution and Data Architects to ensure solution design fulfils customer reporting requirements.Support delivery across multiple IT delivery methodologies. (SDLC/ITLC, Agile, SCRUM, etc.)Own the process of driving core insights from available data and create strategies to improve the customer experience & performance. This will include collaborating with product managers for A/B testing & multivariate testing. Early involvement in enterprise projects to define reporting needs & incorporating those needs into the system designPresent analysis & strategies to senior management in verbal & written forms.Conduct competitive analysis to inform offers & processes.Define reporting to support Accounting and Finance stakeholders for revenue recognition, commissions, and revenue accounting reporting.Translate business requirements into process / system impacts and functional requirements, and identify/assess potential data sources.Provide detailed documentation in relevant work repositories.
