UNITED STATES.CALIFORNIA.SAN JOSEDESCRIPTIONThis individual will work as a part of a highly skilled team tasked with developing and implementing the strategy, processes, systems and infrastructure of Cisco's Decision and Capabilities Transformation (DCT) organization, part of Finance.Within this role the candidate will understand and uses appropriate systems, tools, processes and technology to continually evolve cross-functional release strategy within Cisco. Areas of focus may include: Business analysis, release management, spend visibility, benchmarking with industry peers, evaluation of organization/resource structure and capabilities, evaluation of additional tools and process changes, development of governance and compliance mechanisms.RESPONSIBILITIES? ? Engage as Business Analyst and align resources for ERMO Release projects where activities will include scope analysis, requirements, testing documentation, and enterprise testing? ? Complete/coordinate test activities for ERMO Release activities, and assist with resolving defects and issues related to the execution of test scripts? ? Support IT analysts in the completion of P2R/I2C projects identified by ERMO cross-functional releases by:o Elicit requirementso Document and review as-is business processeso Develop to-be processeso Write requirementso Develop test cases and participate in execution of test cycles? ? Actively investigate issues and follow through with IT Analyst on fixes? ? Follow protocols for escalations and communications? ? Support key programs across Cisco? ? Look for ways to add value to finance business users? ? Collaborate with various constituents within Finance and Cisco Business Functions to drive adoption and key project/program activity throughout the enterprise? ? Set meaningful goals and objectives for DCT activities? ? Partner with appropriate resources to develop marketing and communication strategies and materials to support the adoption of DCT programs? ? Support continuous improvement of processes and systems implemented for Finance? ? Participate in the selection, implementation and support of DCT technology, tools and applications? ? Develop and deliver training programs to support DCT tools, concepts and processes? ? Measure and report on key metrics, successes and performance of DCT programs? ? Partner with program managers in each of the key disciplines within Global Procurement ServicesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS? ? 5+ years of related business experience with a strong background in Program Management? ? Minimum two (2) end-to-end P2R Oracle module (GL, PO, AP, FA) implementations? ? Bachelors Degree required ? ? Masters degree in Business a plus but not required? ? Familiarity with the use and application of Six-Sigma and/or DMAIC frameworksOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES? ? Program Management and customer interface experience preferred? ? Superb communication skills at all levels; written, oral & presentation? ? Ability to rapidly learn new software and technical applications? ? Experience leading and facilitating cross functional teams? ? Strong ability to influence decisions at all levels? ? Creative thinker and strong orientation toward utilizing innovation to resolve challenges? ? Ability to assess and resolve situational problems in a timely manner? ? Ability to manage multiple complex issues at one time ? ? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy ? ? Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. ? ? Experience with spend management reporting applications such as Oracle OBIEE, BO and Essbase? ? Experience with Oracle 11i and R12Experienced - Non Manager
