While carrying out the job duties listed below, the Banquet Coordinator contributes to our continued business success by providing unsurpassed guest service, personal, and professional dedication to our Mission, Vision, and Values, and demonstrating a high level of integrity and ethical standards. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions) *Carry out all administrative and clerical functions to support the Banquets team including but not limited to written and telephone communication to internal and external contacts; prioritizing and distributing incoming mail; coordination of departmental meetings; recording and distributing meeting minutes; relaying messages; maintaining calendars; filing records; and ordering office supplies. *Assist in providing guests and vendors with necessary information and supplies to ensure that events run smoothly. *Assist Banquets team and other departments in responding to and resolving guest inquiries or concerns related to events. *Maintain complete knowledge of all Food and Beverage outlets, including menu items, promotions, events, policies, and basic operations. *Maintain current knowledge of casino facilities, amenities, and events in order to advise guests and respond to inquiries. Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
