We are conveniently located on the doorsteps of the University of North Carolina, in the heart of downtown Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Come experience world-class service, elegantly appointed guest accommodations, superb dining, outstanding meeting and banquet facilities, and an expert staff.

The Carolina Inn is seeking a qualified individual to join our prestigious team in the banquets department as an on-call banquet server.

Position Purpose: The position is dedicated to offering first-class service to the our guests: sets, clears, and serves tables in different functions such as weddings, meetings, social events, etc. to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:
Timely and professional removal of all service items from tables and banquet rooms. This must be maintained throughout each function.

Complete all assigned duties during scheduled shift in a manner which will pass inspection conducted by Banquet Captain.

Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the prep area and banquet storage areas during each function.

Responsible for the cleanliness of all banquet refrigerators and equipment used during each function.

Responsible for set up of place setting for each function according to the Banquet Event Order and instruction given by the Banquet Captain.

Responsible for resetting of function rooms, as needed, according to set sheets.
