The Banquet team works with our clients to fulfill their meeting requests in the 230,000 square feet of ballrooms, boardrooms, and entertainment suites we provide. The hotel was designed to facilitate quick access for attendees, with more than 50 elevators and escalators to get our guests to their meeting with time to spare. Job Description Our Banquet Set-Up Supervisors are hardworking individuals who supervise and direct the set up and tear down of our banquet events in our convention center, ballroom and meeting space. They assist and supervise the proper set up of our client events according to the plan design, assist with our client needs, and provide our guests with exceptional four diamond service. They also pay attention to detail during the set up to ensure everything is accurate according to the information provided to them. Requirements To join our Banquet team as a Banquet Set-Up Supervisor, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent education. Be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language, bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Previous hotel banquet set-up or event set-up experience required, previous supervisor experience is preferred. Routinely moves equipment up to 75 lbs., and also pushes and pulls carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
