Company: Franciscan Childrens Hospital & Rehabilitation Center
Facility: Franciscan Hospital for Children at Brighton
Department: Behavioral Health Services
BEHAVIOR ANALYST/EDUCATOR performs functional behavior analysis, generates behavior plans, and works directly with the child s family and staff as needed. May provide training and supervision to staff, with an emphasis on this developmentally disordered population. Provide consultation and training to parents and caregivers for home setting. This position is for the Outpatient Behavioral Health Services Department.
EXPERIENCE: with both autism-spectrum and psychiatric populations strongly preferred.
Experience in evaluation and treatment of children with serious behavior problems required.
EDUCATION: Preferred Ph.D. or Psy.D. with emphasis on ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), or certification in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology Organization. Preferred current certification by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board at the graduate level. Will consider advanced degree in psychology or education with post-degree training in ABA, cognitive and behavioral psychology. Full-time/Part-time Day Shift/Some evenings & weekends required Experience with special needs preferred
